This is a selection from "Riverwalk"--music I wrote for string quartet and guitar in 1996/97. I received a grant for this composition from the National Urban History Initiative. This selection is from the third movement, "Silk City". The recording was done by the Seraphim Quartet and myself on my Martin steel string. I used the steel string instead of my classical guitar because I felt it gave the music more of an "American" feel. To purchase an audio CD of "Riverwalk" fill out the order form.
